Our Christmas season started with a wonderful worship service this past Sunday! As we focus on the joy and blessing of the Christmas presence, I hope you will join us and bring a friend as we celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Savior. Make a date on your calendar to participate in our special events at LPCC this holiday season.

If you have not signed up to participate in the Women’s Christmas Dinner and Part this Friday, December 8, it is not too late. The dinner begins at 6:15. Come join our women’s ministry for this time of fellowship and celebration. You can sign up and let us know you are coming by calling the church office or sending an e mail to churchadmin@lostpinescowboychurch.com. Join the fun!

This Saturday evening, I want to ask you to join us for Alvarado Road Show’s Christmas concert at Lost Pines Cowboy Church. The show begins at 6:00pm, and it is a wonderful time of worship singing and celebrating the birth of Christ in word and song.Cleve and AJ are gifted Christian musicians and you will be blessed by their music and the fellowship together. Invite your friends to join you at LPCC Saturday night and let’s fill the worship center to capacity with songs of celebration! You will be glad you did!

This year Christmas Eve is on Sunday. It has been a tradition at LPCC to have a special service on Christmas Eve in the evening. But with Christmas Eve on Sunday this year, we will have a morning Christmas Eve service and give our families time to celebrate in the evening on Christmas Eve. We will have communion and a candlelight service as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Make plans now to join us for this special service at 10:30 am Christmas Eve and bring your friends and family with you.

If you missed the beginning of the Christmas sermon series this past Sunday, I hope you will make it a point to join us this Sunday as I continue the series, “Missing Christmas.” This season truly is one of the most wonderful times of the year with holiday celebrations, visits with family and friends, gift giving, the music and decorations and the reminders of the reason for the season. But with all the hustle and bustle, it is easy to miss Christmas. So, join is as we worship and discover the real reason for the season! It just might not be what you think!

Last and not least, make plans to begin the New Year in celebration at our New Year’s Eve Party December 31, from 7pm until 1am January 1, 2018. There will be something for everyone. For more information, call the church office or ask someone at church if they are going to the New Year’s Eve Party! You will be glad you did!
