Ever wonder how unique words can be and how they have more or less importance depending on the receiver? We walk through life using words to help confer our feelings, thoughts and aspirations. We use words to describe our sorrows, disappointments and disparities. We take words and build each other up or tear each other down. Yet without words our lives would be empty and hopeless.

In Mark, Jesus gives us the view of how the Word has substance. Does the Word offend you? Does the Word have no roots in your mind?

The Word is the only true source of joy, hope and love. Take a moment to examine yourselves today to see what 'Word' fills your mind heart and soul. How do your words strengthen and buildup those around you?

Start to put the Word into action through joining a team at LPCC.  Teams are an important part of our mission and vision for LPCC. Please take a look at one of the many teams and get plugged into one.

Let's enjoy all the things God has for us. This Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. is just one way to do that. We are fixing to have our first play day and it begins this weekend. We hope to see you there. Check the church events page. Matt Snelus is ram rodding this event. Let him know if your gonna participate.  Matt’s number is 512-417-2805.
Also, Ruth Dalrymple is having a Cut-n-Sew day 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the large classroom.  They will be cutting material and sewing costumes for the Christmas Program.  Let her know if you can help on Saturday.  Ruth’s number is 281-536-4823 or email ruthdal@sbcglobal.net.

Shepard Update
LPCC Leadership is recommending that the church proceed with an Intentional Interim Ministry (IIM) process.  On Oct. 23rd, Dr. Karl Fickling, Coordinator of the IIM Program, will make a presentation to the church explaining the difference between an intentional interim process and a traditional interim.  Dr. Fickling will also have a question and answer time so members can fully understand this process.
Immediately following the service, church members will be asked to vote on this recommendation.  Please plan to attend this important church conference to decide on the method to finding the next 'Ranch Boss' for Lost Pines Cowboy Church.
